The assignment was to create a candle holder for “tea lights” (värmeljus). We chose to do so in our own way, as a puzzle, a play on the inner radii and outer radii, which fits together. As a puzzle in which also several candlesticks can be combined together in several ways. The upper surface has an organic and soft sweeping form that creates a landscape in chrome metal, adding reflections in a playful way. The lower part is made of black rubber to create a visually stable base that will not scratch the table as well as dampens any clatter when you “puzzle".
